Thirty-nine years after playing the role of Flick, he also reprised the role in the new sequel to A Christmas Story, “A Christmas Story, Christmas,” on HBO MAX. In show business for 45 years, Schwartz has also co-starred with Richard Pryor and Jakie Gleason in The Toy, and starred in the film, KIDCO. Schwartz is most well known for the moment he gets stuck to a frozen flagpole in the original film. “Scott’s performance is not only memorable but his genuine appreciation of the fans that surround this film is second to none, we’re excited to provide an opportunity for the fans here locally to meet him and enjoy the show with him literally in the audience.” “This truly is remarkable that we were able to arrange for Scott to join us in this production of A Christmas Story, our chance to turn an awesome show into something historic,” said Ciske.
Ciske said he made a connection with Schwartz and arranged for him to join in on the festivities. The experience is made possible by Todd Ciske, who’s playing the narrator Ralph in Mukwonago’s production.
Then, he’ll take the stage to introduce the show. He’ll be signing autographs, having meet and greets, taking photos and selling pre-signed merch in the lobby of the PAC from 5 to 6:30 p.m on those nights.
The production runs at the Greenwald Foundation Performing Arts Center at Mukwonago High School on Dec.
